The previous Astro A50 was one of our favorites wireless sets, and the 2019 Gen 4 version is, too. The A50 has that spacey-futuristic-Astro style that can look a little busy, but it nails just about everything you want in a headset. The flip-to-mute microphone (with mic monitoring) is excellent, as is overall sound quality. The fit is comfy and you can easily swap ear cushions.
The big selling point is the wireless charging dock, though. It’s super easy to forget to plug in a wireless headset, but with these, just store them in their dock and you’ll be good to go. The new one is more compact than the previous dock, giving you a few square inches of valuable real estate back on your desk, end table, or console stand.
