President Biden earned a monthly job approval of 44% in June, down one point from May.
That’s according to Rasmussen’s latest presidential polling results.
Fifty-four percent (54%) disapproved of Biden’s job performance in June, unchanged from May.
Biden’s approval was in the low 40s through the first part of 2022, but rose after the midterm elections and the State of the Union address.
During 2021, Biden’s first year in office, his approval hit a high of 52% in May of that year, but dropped significantly after the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021.
Twenty-four percent (24%) of voters “strongly approved” of Biden’s job performance in June, unchanged from the month before.
Forty-five percent (45%) “strongly disapproved” also unchanged from May.
This gives him a full-month Presidential Approval Index rating of -21 for June, the same as May.
Biden had his worst monthly Approval Index, at -29, twice in 2022.
