Now that 80-year-old President Joe Biden has announced his plan to seek reelection, a majority of voters say they expect his age to be a problem.
That’s according to Rasmussen Reports.
The survey finds that 73% of likely US voters say they believe that Biden’s age will be a “serious” problem in terms of his chances of winning reelection, including 49% who say they expect it to be a “very serious” problem.
Twenty-five percent (25%) say they don’t think Biden’s age poses a serious problem for his reelection chances.
Eighty-eight percent (88%) of Republicans, 61% of Democrats, and 70% of voters not affiliated with either party say they believe Biden’s age will be at least a somewhat serious problem for his chances of staying in the White House after 2024.
