After two years of disruption by Covid-19, more Americans are planning holiday travel this year, even exceeding pre-pandemic levels.
That’s according to the latest Rasmussen Reports poll.
The survey found that 26% of American adults plan to travel away from home this holiday season – up from 22% in 2018 – while 66% don’t expect to travel for this year’s holidays.
Forty percent (40%) have friends or relatives traveling to their home to visit this holiday season, down slightly from last year.
Fifty percent (50%) do not expect visitors.
These numbers are identical to the 2018 findings.
