Republican voters are overwhelmingly negative about Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) as the party’s leader in the Senate.
That’s according to Rasmussen Reports.
Sixty-four percent (64%) say they view McConnell unfavorably. Among that group, more than half (35%) say they have a “very unfavorable” impression of him.
Only 28% of likely US voters say they have a favorable impression of McConnell. That’s down from 31% in August.
McConnell plays the lead role for Republicans in the Senate when it comes to legislative priorities, campaign donation money, and which Republicans to support during elections.
