Covid-19 outbreak on cruise ship with 100% fully vaccinated

An outbreak of Covid-19 is reported on a cruise ship with more than 3,000 aboard even though the entire crew and all guests are said to be “fully vaccinated.”

Experts say it’s just the latest example showing the fallacy in claiming vaccination halts Covid infection or spread: Covid has proven not to be a pandemic of the unvaccinated, as some had claimed.

All of the 10 reported cases on the ship are said to be asymptomatic, according to Norwegian Cruise Lines, which is operating the cruise.

The Norwegian Breakaway cruise ship started its journey in New Orleans on November 28 and stopped in Mexico, among other destinations.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says, in general, the vast majority of people who get Covid have few or no symptoms. Even those who have no symptoms, enjoy strong immunity against a repeat infection, according to dozens of studies.

So-called natural immunity after infection has been found by scientists to be far more effective than the Covid-19 vaccines. That’s added to the controversy over vaccine mandates, requiring vaccination even among those who already have better immunity from prior infection.
