(POLL) Voters split on where Trump will end up in 2024

With former President Donald Trump now facing criminal indictments in four separate cases, voters are divided over where he’ll end up next year.

That’s according to the latest Rasmussen Reports.

The survey found that 41% of likely U.S. voters believe it’s more likely Trump will be elected president again in 2024, while 38% think it’s more likely Trump will be sentenced to federal prison.

Twenty-one percent (21%) are not sure.

Last week a grand jury in Fulton County, Georgia, charged the former president with illegally interfering with that state’s election, Trump’s fourth indictment this year.

Sixty percent (60%) of Democratic voters believe it’s more likely Trump will be sentenced to federal prison, as do 14% of Republicans and 38% of voters not affiliated with either major party.

Sixty-nine percent (69%) of Republicans, 20% of Democrats and 36% of unaffiliated voters think it’s more likely Trump will be elected president again in 2024.

While Trump is the one currently facing criminal charges, many suspect the current occupant of the White House is at least as guilty.

Fifty-four percent (54%) of likely voters think it’s likely that President Joe Biden has committed crimes as bad or worse than Trump is charged with, including 44% who believe it’s “very likely.”

Forty-two percent (42%) don’t think Biden has committed crimes at least as bad as Trump is charged with, including 27% who say it is “not at all likely.”
