On June 21, 2018, Greta Thunberg made an apocalyptic climate change prediction about the fate of the planet, which failed to come to fruition, causing her to get roasted on Twitter.
The then-15-year-old Swedish climate activist sent out a fear-mongering tweet implying that we only have five years left before the end of the world.
“A top scientist is warning that climate change will wipe out all of humanity unless we stop using fossil fuels over the next five years,” the tweet read.
Today is the five-year anniversary of Thunberg’s dire warning, and unsparingly, then the world has survived.
Thunberg deleted her tweet, appearing to realize her prediction would come to nothing.
However, the internet is forever, and people are not letting Thunberg forget about it.
Thunberg joins the ranks of other failed climate doomers like Al Gore, who also made failed predictions about the world ending because of climate change.
“Humanity survived — in large part- due to fossil fuels usage — not in spite of it,” one user roasted Greta Thunberg.
Others mocked Thunberg pretending to panic about the possible end of the world.
It appears Thunberg is just like the other elites, who stoke fear to push the green agenda.
Others like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently predicted the world only has about 12 years left to battle climate change, a prediction used to push her Green New Deal.
