(POLL) Majority disapprove of Congress’ job performance

Nearly half of voters give the U.S. Senate a “poor” job rating. That’s according to a recent the Rasmussen Reports survey.

Additionally, most do not support the Biden administration’s Build Back Better legislation that was pending in the Senate, but is now on the chopping block without Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-West Virginia) vote.

The telephone and online survey found that only 21% of likely voters rate the Senate as doing an “excellent or good” job, while 47% give the Senate a “poor” job rating.

The ratings are slightly better for the House of Representatives, where 30% of voters give an “excellent or good” approval rating, but almost half of voters (45%) gave the House a “poor” rating.
